Our Journey

Direct Access was founded on the principle that mental health / mental well-being is a human right and nothing should restrict that right. Currently, the view of what positively and negatively affects mental health / well-being is too narrow. This restricted view contributes to inequity and mental health difficulties because every interaction has a positive, neutral, or negative impact; every facet of life touches well-being and mental health.

We are tackling the problem through a multi-stage approach:

  • Phase One. Our first phase, active now, is a series of products that equip for-profit and non-profit organizations with the tools they need to reduce the increasing mental health issues affecting our society and economy. Our products provide clear and effective research-based tools that slow the flow and reduce the demands for mental health services.

  • Phase Two. Clearly, there is a deep demand for treatment professionals. Phase 2 is designed to correct the issues that insurance has caused with accessing quality mental health care.
